Drive-In Gospel Meetings

It has been a long time! For months we have not been able to have any services in the Glencraig Gospel Hall. While we are now able to meet at the hall there is a cap of 50 people maximum. Knowing that many of you want to attend a Christian service we have created a drive-in service at Lochore Meadows Country Park. This short service will take place each Sunday throughout August and September at 6.30 p.m. starting Sunday August 2.

A ‘drive in service’ means what it says. You drive in at the main entrance to the Country Park from the Crosshill side. The site we have been allocated lies just beyond Lochore Castle. You will be directed to a place by a steward and will stay in your car and listen to the service via loud speakers. Cars will be well separated and social distancing measures will be in place to help prevent spread of the Coronavirus. There will be no requirement to say who you are for ‘track and trace’ however, as it is not in a public building – you can be anonymous if you wish!

We do hope that after this long period of isolation you will join us. We believe that the message of the Bible is so relevant to our lives and particularly in our context just now. It provides the answers to our deepest questions. We are looking forward to welcoming all who can manage along.

If you or a friend can’t make it on the day, we will be trying to do a live broadcast via Periscope. You can follow this at https://www.pscp.tv/GlencraigGH

Bible Exhibition

The Bible Exhibition is coming to Glencraig Gospel Hall. See the flyer below for all the details.

Gospel Meetings Continue

The gospel tent has now been taken down – but the meetings will continue for one further week, God Willing. Craig Munro and Jack Hay will preach the gospel every night in the Gospel Hall at Main Street, Glencraig. If you haven’t been with us before, the hall is located just before the entrance to Lochore Meadows Country Park as you come from Lochgelly. Meeting times are unchanged, 8.00 – 8.45pm every night Sunday to Thursday. See you there!

Tent Meetings

For the avoidance of doubt – the tent meetings run Sunday to Thursday each week at 8pm every night. There is a meeting for children and teenagers at 6.30pm on Friday nights but no meeting on Saturday evenings.

Tent Meetings Continue

Remember the tent meetings in Glencraig continue for another two weeks at least. See this blog post for all the details.

Remember too that there is a meeting for children and teenagers every Friday night during the tent series. For more information see our dedicated Facebook page for more information.

August Tent Meetings

Look out during July for a leaflet dropping through your letter box giving you details of our planned tent meetings at the Milton.

Craig Munro and Jack Hay will be preaching the gospel in the tent, God willing, for 3 weeks or so starting Sunday 12th August. The leaflet (and this site) will have more details in due course.

P.S. If you like the images on our leaflet you can see them in their full glory on our sister site at scotlandneedsthegospel.org.

Explaining Christianity in 30 Minutes

Following the good response to our first 30 minute meeting in the town hall in Lochgelly on 21st February we have managed to secure the same venue for a couple of Tuesday nights in March. Come along and hear a simple explanation of Christianity done and dusted in 30 minutes on 14th and 28th March at 8.30pm. See you there.

See the map below for details of how to find the town hall.

Egypt to Canaan

For anyone with an interest in getting a deeper understanding of the Word of God, you are very welcome to join us any Friday night over the next few weeks at 8pm where Craig Munro will be looking at the subject of “Egypt to Canaan”, the historical journey of the Jews from captivity in Egypt to the land of Israel. In particular Craig will be applying the lessons they learned to our own experiences as Christians.

For recordings of the meetings as they take place, please go to our separate blog post.

For full details of the meetings please refer to the schedule below.
