Forth Road Bridge Re-Opened!

If you are planning on joining us for our New Year Conference, good news! Further to our previous post, the repairs to the Forth Road Bridge have been completed ahead of schedule and the bridge has been re-opened to cars as of the early hours of this morning. Unless you plan to arrive in an HGV with a laden weight in excess of 7.5 Tonnes you should be fine.

Christian Conference 2015

Join us for the Glencraig Christian Conference on the last day of 2015! God willing we intend to hold a conference for the teaching of God’s Word at the Lochgelly Centre on Thursday 31st December 2015 commencing at 3pm.

For those of you who have attended our end of year conference before, please note the change of venue. The Centre’s full address is:

The Lochgelly Centre
Bank St
Lochgelly
Fife KY5 9RD

There is free parking available in the adjacent public car park, accessed off Landale Street.

If you are travelling from South of the River Forth – please note that the Forth Road Bridge has been closed (completely!) for safety reasons until January 2016 at the earliest. If you are flying into Edinburgh Airport the easiest solution would be for you to take a bus or tram from the airport to Edinburgh Haymarket (or Waverley) railway stations and to catch a train into Fife from there as the rail bridge is unaffected.

If you are hiring a car or if you are driving North from the South or West, there are alternative routes available via Stirling or the Clackmannanshire Bridge. Provided you plan your journey accordingly it should make little difference to your overall journey time.
