Glencraig Gospel Hall

Witnessing to Jesus Christ in the Benarty Community

Virtual Gospel Message

See below for the first of our Gospel Messages broadcast this evening on Periscope.

COVID-19 Update

The Christians who meet at the Gospel Hall in Glencraig regret to announce that in accordance with the latest Government guidance on social distancing, our public meetings are suspended until further notice.

In order to continue to support our community, it is our intention, God willing, to broadcast a regular gospel message via the Periscope app at 6.30pm every Sunday evening. If you would like to see this please download the Periscope app on your phone and follow @GlencraigGH. If you don’t have a smartphone you can follow this link to access our Periscope site on the Web.

If you need to get in touch with us during this period, please use the contact details in the Contact Us section of this site.

COVID-19 Sunday School Update

We want to give you a brief update on our plans in relation to Sunday school during this difficult period. Firstly, we would like to take this opportunity to say that we hope that you and your family and our community remain safe through this period, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Unfortunately, given the revised advice from the Government, we are going to have to stop Sunday School early this year. Therefore, last Sunday i.e. 15th of March will have been our last Sunday School for this season. We will not have a trip this year and we are going to have to postpone the prize giving until next season God willing.

We are so sorry to have to take this decision but as I am sure all will understand, the safety of our children and the wider community has to take priority in this situation.

The Good Kings of Judah

Craig Munro has now concluded his series covering the ‘good’ kings of Judah, recordings of each meeting are available below. Apologies for the quality of the recording of the first meeting but grateful thanks to those who recorded from towards the back of the hall as this is the only available record of this meeting. Note that the ministry on Jotham was given on a Sunday afternoon rather than a Friday night and is therefore somewhat shorter than the other meetings.

Bible Exhibition

The Bible Exhibition is coming to Glencraig Gospel Hall. See the flyer below for all the details.

Benarty Gala Day

Fantastic day at the Benarty Gala today. Many thanks to the Benarty Events Group for a superbly organised event – as always! Thanks too to everyone who dropped by our stand for a chat – nearly 1000 of our re-usable John 3:16 bags given away today.

Remember you don’t need to wait til next year to see us again, you can always pop in any Sunday Night at the Gospel Hall for our evening service at 6.30pm.

Teaching on the Local Church

Craig Munro continues with his practice over recent years of having a series of Friday night Bible teaching meetings at the start of the year. Over four Friday nights in February, he is going to be dealing with what the Bible has to say about the local Church. We will be posting recordings of his teaching and notes as we go.

Conference 2018

Thanks to all who joined us for our annual conference at the Rothes Halls on 31 December and those who came back to the Gospel Hall in Glencraig afterwards.

Here is a little reminder of the singing after supper:

Gospel Meetings Continue

The gospel tent has now been taken down – but the meetings will continue for one further week, God Willing. Craig Munro and Jack Hay will preach the gospel every night in the Gospel Hall at Main Street, Glencraig. If you haven’t been with us before, the hall is located just before the entrance to Lochore Meadows Country Park as you come from Lochgelly. Meeting times are unchanged, 8.00 – 8.45pm every night Sunday to Thursday. See you there!

Tent Meetings

For the avoidance of doubt – the tent meetings run Sunday to Thursday each week at 8pm every night. There is a meeting for children and teenagers at 6.30pm on Friday nights but no meeting on Saturday evenings.
