Gospel Meetings in the ‘Tute

From Wednesday 21st February – 13th March, we plan to hold a Gospel Meeting in the Lochore Miners Welfare Institute on 4 Wednesday nights at 7:30pm each night.

The speakers will be Craig Munro and Stephen Graham. Everyone is really welcome to join us at these meetings. Come and hear about God’s great way of salvation.

Summer Drive-In Meetings

We are delighted to confirm that our summer drive-in meetings at the Lochore Meadows Country Park will be making a return this year.

From Sunday 11th June until Sunday 27th August, there will be a drive-in meeting at 6:30pm every Sunday night with 2 exceptions (noted below). We are very grateful to the park management for granting access to the same site as we used last year and look forward to welcoming you back to these meetings. The map below shows the location.

There are two Sundays that we will not be able to get the use of the park, these are:

  • 25 June
  • 30 July

All arrangements are made subject to the will of God.

Tent Meetings Start Soon

Following recent relaxation in the covid restrictions in Scotland we plan, God willing, to be able to conduct some gospel meetings in the tent over this summer.

This is a new tent which is considerably larger than the previous one we had giving plenty of scope for social distancing. The tent has been pitched in its ‘usual’ position at The Whins, Nether Milton, Off Park Street, Crosshill KY5 8BH. The speakers will be Mr Craig Munro & Mr Jack Hay. Everyone will be made very welcome.

Sunday 8th August at 4pm
Monday 9th – Thursday 12th August at 7.30pm
Sunday 15th August at 4pm
Monday 16th – Thursday 19th August at 7.30pm

Please note that the drive-in meetings at Lochore Meadows will not take place on the two Sundays of the tent meetings.

Drive-In Meetings Recommencing

We are delighted to be able to announce that, God willing, the drive-in gospel meetings will recommence next Sunday (2 May) at Lochore Meadows Country Park at 4pm.

Drive into the main entrance to the Park and as you pass the ruin of Lochore Castle you should see stewards directing you to the site via a track to your left (opposite the golf club).

As before, we intend to also broadcast these meetings live although this time we will be using YouTube Live. We will endeavour to share a specific link ahead of the meetings but you should always be able to find live broadcasts on our YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/GlencraigGospelHall

Drive-In Meetings to Continue at New Time of 4pm

Please note that, Lord willing, we plan to extend the Sunday night drive-in meetings through the month of October at the same venue, Lochore Meadows Country Park. As a concession to the darker evenings, however, we will be moving to an earlier starting time of 4pm. All other details remain as before.

NOTE DRIVE-IN MEETING 4 OCTOBER 2020 CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

For access details, you can find us on Google Maps using the embedded map below. Thanks to whoever has added this.

Drive-In Gospel 9 August 2020

First of the Drive-In Gospel Meetings

The first of the drive-in gospel meetings at Lochore Meadows took place this evening. If you didn’t manage to join us you can hear the message on our Periscope site.

Drive-In Gospel Meetings

It has been a long time! For months we have not been able to have any services in the Glencraig Gospel Hall. While we are now able to meet at the hall there is a cap of 50 people maximum. Knowing that many of you want to attend a Christian service we have created a drive-in service at Lochore Meadows Country Park. This short service will take place each Sunday throughout August and September at 6.30 p.m. starting Sunday August 2.

A ‘drive in service’ means what it says. You drive in at the main entrance to the Country Park from the Crosshill side. The site we have been allocated lies just beyond Lochore Castle. You will be directed to a place by a steward and will stay in your car and listen to the service via loud speakers. Cars will be well separated and social distancing measures will be in place to help prevent spread of the Coronavirus. There will be no requirement to say who you are for ‘track and trace’ however, as it is not in a public building – you can be anonymous if you wish!

We do hope that after this long period of isolation you will join us. We believe that the message of the Bible is so relevant to our lives and particularly in our context just now. It provides the answers to our deepest questions. We are looking forward to welcoming all who can manage along.

If you or a friend can’t make it on the day, we will be trying to do a live broadcast via Periscope. You can follow this at https://www.pscp.tv/GlencraigGH
